8-8-2017- Woman Found Dead on North Maroon Peak
A 57-year-old woman was found dead on the North Face of North Maroon Peak today.
8-6-2017- Climber Killed After Fall Near Knife Edge
A climber was killed on Capitol Peak after falling "just before the Knife Edge."

7-19-2017- Another Death on Capitol Peak
An off route climber was killed when a boulder he was clinging to broke free and tumbled several hundred feet
5-28-2017- Hiker Killed on Maroon Bells A hiker was found killed at the base of the Maroon Bells with head and leg injuries

3-7-2017- Missing Hiker Found on Pyramid Peak A climber who had been missing for two days was found alive after a bad fall on Pyramid Peak. Ryan Montoya apparently suffered frostbite and other undisclosed injuries.

2-22-2017- Hiker Blown off Mountain in 100 mph gust, Badly Injures Leg Famed Colorado mountaineer Alan Arnette was blown off Twin Sisters Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park in an estimated 100 mph gust of wind and suffer a badly broken leg.

7/11/2015- Andrew Hamilton Breaks the speed record for climbing all of Colorado's 14,000-foot peaks The amazing feat was accomplished in just 9 days, 21 hours and 51 minutes.

6/30/2015- Eight People Struck and One Dog Killed by Lightning on Mt. Bierstadt In a sudden storm on one of Colorado's busiest 14ers, eight people were struck and one dog was killed by lightning. Three of the victims were brought to the hospital with their injurines. 

9/30/13- Climbers Complete the First Through Hike of Colorado's 14ers Luke DeMuth and Junais Dawud have successfully climbed all of Colorado's highest peaks in one continuous hike, a journey that took 70 days, 1,300 miles of walking, and 300,000 vertical feet.

9/23/13- Helicopter Rescue on North Maroon Peak A 59-year-old mountaineer had to be rescued by helicopter after falling 50 feet while downclimbing North Maroon on Saturday.
  9/13/13- Two Climbers Stranded on Longs Peak Climbers Connie Yang and Suzanne Turell are stranded at 13,400 feet on Longs Peak in an ice storm. A rescue attempt is planned for today.
9/5/13- Jimmy Webb establishes V15 on Mount Evans Webb has sent Wheel of Wolvo on Mt. Evans, his first V15.
9/1/13- Dramatic Blackhawk Rescue on Capitol Peak Mountain climber Daniel Palmer had to be rescued by a Blackhawk helicopter from Capitol Peak on Friday.
